Kid Nefarious one-shot coming to Kickstarter on July 9th!
Hello Gladstone's Crew! Armand Villavert's been hard at work sending out Gladstone's School for World Conquerors to our Kickstarter backers. He finished this week and your books are on their way! Thank you so much for all of your enthusiasm, support and encouragement, these means the world to us! Armand and I have one-shots planned for the Gladstone’s Universe by guest creative teams featuring Kid Nefarious, The Skull Brothers, Ghost Girl, Martian Jones, and Mummy girl.
The Gladstone’s one-shots are going to be printed in the United States which will give us a faster turnaround and delivery time. While the Hardcover books from China are beautiful, the wait from printing overseas has been holding us up.
We need to get Gladstone’s out more regularly to our audience.
Once the first round of one-shots are printed, our strategy will be to hire more popular creative teams that already have a built-in audience to draw attention to our series and to build up our readership numbers.
Our first offering is our Kid Nefarious one-shot that’s drawn by Gladstone’s alumnus Matthew Weldon.
Kid Nefarious is written by Ryan L. Schrodt.
It’s colored by Gladstone’s alumnus Rodrigo Aviles, and lettered by Gladstone’s alumnus Patrick Brosseau.
After a failed test, Kid Nefarious is threatened with expulsion and given a second chance from Headmaster Ironsides.
Kid Nefarious must now embark on a wondrous quest he never signed up for…
As a Superhero and the protector of the halcyon city of Sunnybrook.
